The King’s Coronation
On Thursday 6th May we held a Tea Party to celebrate the King’s Coronation. Jill spent the morning baking all of the delicious treats that the staff and children all enjoyed. We had finger sandwiches, homemade scones, apple tart, fresh fruit salad, cocktail sausages, and pavlova. Thank you to Steven Black at Peggy’s family bakes for the Coronation themed cupcakes, cookies and brownies. These were also delicious!
Some of the children and staff came to nursery dressed in Coronation themed clothing and we all got involved in arts & crafts, messy play and baking activities.
A great day was had by all!
