The Zone – Breakfast and Afterschools Club

The Zone Afterschools Club was established in 2009 when The Ark first opened its doors, however such was its popularity that in 2012 we set about building a separate unit complete with its own facilities and outdoor space.

The Zone is a ‘stress free’ space for children to hang out with their friends after school, they can relax after their school day in a safe environment, chill out, socialise or take part in a wide range of activities of their choice.

Staff are on hand to help those children who are keen to complete their homework, leaving their evening free for fun activities.

The Zone has its own large, secure garden with something for everyone and big open spaces for team activities. The garden has a relaxing seated area and also a play frame for those with lots of energy to burn off!

We know that school hours don’t always suit busy parents who are trying to juggle work with a commute and the school run, we provide you with one point for drop-off and collection and we’ll arrange the rest.

We open from 7.15am until 6.30pm, we offer Breakfast Club and drop-off and collection to and from most of the local schools.

We’ll also provide a snack when children arrive at the club from school as well as a light, nutritious tea so, if you need to pick-up a bit later, you don’t need to worry about missing mealtimes.
